large and comfortable room, clean space, convenient parking

The front desk opening a bit later on weekends would be a nice change!!! The showers need serious upgrades, slow water flow and low shower heads are frustrating. Better electrical reliability would also enhance the experience!!!

The employees are all very very helpful. The location is comfortable and perfect, just off nearby attractions and Lake Casitas and the Ojai Valley. Also, it's 2 miles away from Ojai Valley Trail...

A cozy stay by the lake

The room was spacious and comfortable, awesome for a restful night. The staff were very good, we had everything we needed. A pleasant surprise!

The front desk didn't open until 8 am, tough to grab breakfast on our way out. A few snacks in the morning would have been nice.

The room was well-appointed and brand-new and had coffee, air conditioning and free wireless internet access as pictured in advertising. The breakfast was simple continental and included.

The staff and front desk were extremely helpful and very friendly. Willing to make our stay very, very comfortable.

I can't think of anything that would describe a bad stay.

The room provided plenty of space with two queen beds, perfect for a family stay. The nearby Ojai Pizza Company served delicious pies, ideal for late-night cravings after a long day outdoors.

The hotel could benefit from some updates. The shower experience suffered due to low water flow and an awkwardly positioned shower head. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty , and I found the mattress sheet not properly fitted.

Quiet, nice big bedrooms and bathrooms, recently renovated.

I was traveling with my teenage grandson and my dog. I especially liked the large counter and floor space in the bathroom. The grounds were neat and tidy. Parking was close to our downstairs room, yet not immediately in front so that we were not disturbed by cars and other guests' voices. The variety of simple continental breakfast items was nice. Coffee was good. The manager Scott was friendly and professional. I would come again.

Unfortunately the guests on the second floor over our room were noisy a few times at night and caused our dog to bark a few times. I was concerned about disturbing our neighbors on each side. It sounded like they were dropping heavy items or just jumping on their floor. Although it was only her third night to ever stay in a motel/hotel, it was not hard to calm her.

Charming, Cozy, Comfortable

The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds that seemed like a hug. The outdoor swimming pool was the perfect way to unwind under the sun, and I can't get enough of the lush views surrounding the area. Plus, I loved the touch of fresh donuts at the front desk, who doesn't appreciate delicious snacks?

The large room with two queen beds felt spacious, complemented by excellent air conditioning and a good hot shower. I enjoyed the clean space, and the coffee maker and fridge came in handy. Noise from outside was minimal, peaceful night. The front desk hours could've been better. Opening around 7am would be ideal, especially since there aren't many breakfast spots nearby. We also found the lack of pastries and coffee in the morning a bit inconvenient. All in all, the Ojai Pizza Company next door served amazing pizza, perfect for late-night snacking, but the early morning options could use some thought.

Clean rooms, microwave oven, fridge, extraordinarily spacious bath room. Fresh, clean air regardless the weather.

Bed covers are outdated.
